Free Live Music, Local Energy, and a Summer Staple That’s Grown Into Something Bigger
Olathe Live! started as a simple summer concert series. Over time, it’s grown into something much more... a full lineup of live performances spread throughout the year, across multiple locations in the city.
Whether it’s a summer night at Stagecoach Park, a casual lunchtime show downtown, or a one-off performance at Lake Olathe, there’s usually something happening.
And most of it is free.
Where You’ll Find It
One of the best parts about Olathe Live! is that it doesn’t live in just one place.
You’ll see events pop up at:
- Stagecoach Park – the traditional summer concert setting
- Michael E. Copeland Civic Center Park – perfect for lunchtime shows in Downtown Olathe
- Lake Olathe Park – a great setting for evening events
- Downtown Olathe / Johnson County Square and other pop-up locations
It’s not one venue. It’s a rotating experience around the city.

The Stagecoach Park Tradition
These are the classic Friday night shows... music starts at 7:00 PM, and the atmosphere feels exactly like you’d expect:
Lawn chairs.
Blankets.
Neighbors catching up.
Kids running around.
Some nights are a little bigger than others.
The June 12 and July 10 shows include a special “Goal-athe” edition with:
- Food trucks
- Concessions
- Yard games
- Expanded Family Zone (face painting, balloon artists, bounce houses, etc.)
It’s one of those events where you can show up for the music and end up staying for everything else.
